About the Company
Rooted in the belief that collaboration evokes strong creations, the No Strings Attached Dance Company, under the direction of Lissa Resnick, links high-energy dance with theater and the visual arts. Classically trained dancers create new works which evolve today’s contemporary dance movement. In it’s debut years (2012/2013), new choreography was performed across California. Versatile venues, dynamic performance, professional dance-artists. The No Strings Attached Dance Company delivers passionate moving art in this, our vast canvas of life.

About the Founder and Director
Lissa Resnick, a Harkness award-winning dancer and choreographer founded No Strings Attached Dance Company in Los Angeles and expanded to the SF Bay Area in 2013. Lissa links ballet technique with contemporary dance and theater. The company’s work has been featured throughout California including ODC PUSHfest, where they received the 2018 Audience Choice Award, Djerrasi Women’s Ballet Choreographer Residency Program, Z Space Theater, sjDANCEco, North Hollywood’s El Portal Theater, and named LA Weekly’s “Top Five Dance Shows This Week.” She co-founded the public art incubator Art Moves Project in 2017 where No Strings Attached Dance Company is in residence. Lissa holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Southern California and practices pediatric physical therapy in the East Bay, California.
